CanadaScreentight Screen Wall for Second Floor Covered Porch
The Screen Wall extrusions were really easy to cut, fit and install for our second floor covered porch. The two side openings are sloped to match the adjacent roof, so there was a bit of mitering to do. We spent quite a bit of effort caulking the many small openings where there were gaps between siding and flashing, but that has nothing to do with the Screen Wall. We found installing the screen and spline to be the most intimidating part, and the instructions are a bit short on details about that. We had to wait for a period of low wind (not common for this location!). Because we were installing the screen from inside the porch, we were always looking through the screen against the daylight, which made it difficult to see wrinkles and sags. It was actually easier to do this part in the evening. In the end, we’re really happy with the results!

After considering several (and considerably more expensive) solutions for our porch remodeling, we opted to put our trust in Screen Porch Solutions and they did not disappoint!
